Travers-Sabine-Mt Franklin

I'm wanting to do the Travers-Sabine incorporating a climb of Mt Franklin, any suggestions as to the best route, as I've heard there are a few?
If anyone is interested in joining me, please feel free to get in touch.
Most likely date will be around the 20th March, but am open to later if necessary.
Does anyone know where I can park a car for a week whilst I tramp the Travers-Sabine.........somewhere safe and cheap?
I parked my car at the backpackers in St Arnaud for $5 a night and its very safe there.I forget the name of the place but its on the main rd.
Thanks for the tip John. Has anyone got any info on the route up Mt Franklin?
