Waiopehu Ridge History Question
I'm trying to fill in some gaps around the history of some of Waiopehu Ridge sites and wonder if anyone knows where I might find out some detail.
Waiopehu Huts 1, 2, and 3 I have all the history on, but the gaps I'd like to fill in are around;
The Old Forestry Campsite, a bit below Point 600, and
The Old Edwards Shelter Site very near Point 690.
All I can find is the date of removal of the Edwards Shelter in 2007.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
