Bog In Hut to Waihaha Hut

Hi. I am planning a tramping trip between Bog in Hut to Waihaha Hut over christmas new year. I am wondering how many hours walk between the 2 Huts, I walked in to Waihaha hut last christmas in about 2 and a half hours, with a friend. Doc website says it a long day, What does that mean? 10 or more Hours? Thank Cheers Heather
See my track description at http://www.tramper.co.nz/?3547 Yes the 2 huts are probably about 10 hours apart which is possible for a day but much more enjoyable to split it into two. There is a good campsite at the half way point just at the foot of Weraroa. Great trip, do enjoy.
