NZ topo maps for garmin GPS

A tramping mate (AndrewP over on www.bushwalk.com) has been producing contour maps (Aus, state by state) for use in Garmin GPS for quite some time - now he's added New Zealand North & South Island maps to the list. To download, go to : http://tiny.cc/osm-maps or to read the whole thread on Bushwalk.com, go to : http://bushwalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=28893 For NZ, the hydro, contours, forest, scrub, scree and shingle data are from LINZ and all other data are from OSM. To use in a GPS, just copy the downloaded file into the \garmin folder (of the GPS or the memory card). To use in Basecamp on a PC, on a USB stick, create a \garmin folder then copy the downloaded file to that folder. Thanks AndrewP, great stuff.
