Te Urewera National park

kia ora!
I plan to go to Te Urewera national park in October.
Would be great to stay in the many huts, go and look at Maungapohatu.I was picturing a 5-6 day adventure.
I've learnt a little maori to help me on the way, would really like to explore this amazing place with so much history.
I've done quite a few tramps before but would like to go with someone who is experienced too.
