I have been out and about in the hills since the middle sixties. Deerstalking at first but mainly tramping for the last twenty odd years.I live in Kapiti about 10 km from Otaki Forks, and do a lot of solo tramping in the Tararua's and Ruahine's. I have always been keen on photography particularly wildlife and macro My favourite area in NZ is Nelson Lakes
