Top Tuke hut

This four bunk hut is located on the TR in the head basin of the Tuke River a tributary of the Mikonui River. The open fire was removed at some stage and there is now no heating so it's only for the hardy outside of summer conditions.

Very few people used to walk into this hut but that may have changed as DOC recently started maintaining routes to this hut from the Mikonui & Whitcombe valleys.
