"Old" Bluff Hut (has been relocated & upgraded)

Information may be incorrect: you are not viewing the latest version of this page. This version ID 11792 created 29 January 201229 January 2012 by glennjglennj.

Ex NZFS 4 person hut. Neglected by DoC and soon to be relocated. This means the Bluff swingbridge will be reinstalled as well and the approach tracks to the current hut site will be recut to enable a maintained circuit.

The water supply is currently an unconnected pipe from guttering hopefully allowing water to flow into a 20 litre plastic container. 3 billies have also been left out on the former water tank platform to allow rain water to fill them.

There is a good outside fireplace by the door. The toilet is situated over a deep rock crevass. There are great views to be had.
