A very basic hut near Lake Heron that is popular with Hunters. It is located near Double Hut, a similar hut. Both huts have six bunks, a fireplace, a nearby river, firewood, and a toilet.

Getting there
|
Access is now via the Lake Emily and Stour River road ends on former 4WD tracks. Also, you can get to this hut via the Manuka Range which is also accessible from the Mt Somers walkway near Woolshed Ck Hut. |
