13 Jan 2018 | Hut now has no mattresses (2017). Beds are so uneven floor is the only option unless you have a really thick camping mat! | |

8 Feb 2014 | Quite a rustic bivvy. The beds aren't too bad if you add a camping mat on top, but the spare mattress on the floor is the most comfortable. Stream nearby for water. Took 1 1/4 hours from the bottom of Kea Basin track with heavy packs. A mouse or two reside here. | |
