1 Mar 2016 | This hut has had 4 extra windows fitted in Feb 2016. Two pair of small windows to illuminate the bunk area. I found the access time info listed to walk in varied from 3 - 6½ hrs. This seemed a big spread and a little confusing! For the record in good conditions with a several day pack it took me ¾ of an hour to walk the 4x4 track from the ford to the swing bridge and 2¾ hrs from there on to the hut. This time included 3 short breaks of 5 mins or so. | |
