9 Jun 2018 | Nice walk in via Woolshed Creek track and out via Rhyolite Track. 10-20cm of snow on the tops, track was quite muddy in parts. Hut was approximately 3/4 full, probably due to the good weather forecast for the weekend. | |

12 Dec 2015 | Hut was full. Took the Keron 4 GT out for the first time. Great tent - slept 4 in comfort, with lots of room for gear. High winds and rain that night, and showers of hail the next day. Met some great people. | |

10 Jan 2014 | A lovely walk in from the Woolshed Creek car park. Sign says 3 hrs, we usually take 2. Hut filled up so glad we took tents and could offer our bunks to others. Went to the water caves after getting to the hut - well worth a visit - follow the red paint! | |

26 Oct 2013 | First overnight tramp! Walked in from Woolshed Creek car park in NorWest rain. Very glad to see the hut - two teenage boys starting to get very wet and cold. Hut was packed - 49 people there that night - luckliy some had tents, but still very cosy! Will make sure we take tents next time. | |
