21 Jul 2021 | Woodstove looks grand. We'll be back at a cooler time of year to stay here. The artwork on the door is impressive. At Waitangi weekend in 2017 a couple of families walked to the hut via the North Ashburton from Comyn's Hut. After the June 2021 flood the route to Cookies from Trib Hut is still navigable. The hut etc. looks good though the toilet door bolt is not aligned properly so I tied it up with some twine. |
