15 December 2016: Ka Whata Tu o Rakihouia - Fyffe-Palmer Track closed Due to damage sustained during the major earthquake on 14 November 2016, this area and its facilities are closed until further notice. Updates will be placed on this website when further information is available. Aye. Your MTB link tells the story. Road is closed at Mangamaunu (just before point 243) and at Peketa going south. Mt Fyffe & environs is closed "indefinitely" according to DoC in Renwick (Blenheim).
