For the weekend I am/did ....... walk....

Beautiful night last night, I thought about going through to McKenzie in the dark, but moon wasn't going to be up till a little late. The broomstick from the Harris Saddle Shelter came in handy towards the top of Conical Hill...

Yes, good to make the most of a break in the weather. I didn't think weather and snow conditions would be good enough to get up so high, so didn't take the ice axe. Luckily I could borrow the broomstick from the shelter, there was a short section just before the top of Conical Hill, I wouldn't have got across/up there without it. There were several sets of tracks heading up there but they all gave up at the point the snow poles were completely buried and the route was no longer obvious.
