Travel Insurance
Does anyone know of a good NZ Travel insurance (reasonaly pirced) which will insure for high altitude treking (in Nepal) - inclusive of 'helicopter' medical and search rescue. tks.

Another option is the Austrian Alpine Club (UK section) where membership automatically includes worldwide mountain rescue insurance. Membership costs 43.50 pounds pa. See their website at aacuk.org.uk
You could also have some normal (cheaper) travel insurance to cover other things like lost luggage, medical treatments etc.
Thank you all for your advises, I have now taken up my Tvl insurance with the NZ Alpine Club (more expensive than others) but knowing the helicopter is mentioned in black & white in their policy.
