Hello Everyone!!
I am looking for a sleeping bag to bring on the several hikes i will be doing when i come over from Australia. Planning on doing the Harman Pass (arthurs pass) and the Travers Sabine (nelson lakes) will be travelling up to bakers hut and waimakariri falls huts. Looking for an appropriate bag for summer to autumn condition for any other treks i will come back and do. Budget around 400 but really want to get a feel for the required temperature ratings needed. Have been looking at some bags rate to 0 degrees. would this be suitable being paired with a liner and layer for most seasons but winter?

am i looking around the right temperature range? Ideally i'd like to use this for any and most things other than winter. ie/ mid to late autumn, or should i look for something towards -7*C?
depends what your tolerance to the cold is already.
the further north you are from the harder you will find adapting to the cold....

These bags are great - 750 fill goosedown. Weight 750gms. Good for down to -3degC. They remove VAT for oseas orders. I have the pipedream 400.

thanks for the input guys :D i think i had my hart set on a WM summerlite which was what i went with after browsing through these suggestions. i plan to pair it with a light down jacket and decent linear and my exped synmat7. i think i should be okay with most conditions :D
