Copland pass in November?
Hi all. What are the pros and cons of doing this route then instead of later in summer? I would think maybe less problems with crevasses but prob more avalanche risk? Is this a good time, what are your thoughts?
For those that have done the route since all the slips any advice? What sort of time frame were you taking to do it?
With just a careful party of two, we should be alright without helmets?
Thanks
Kevin

I went in November and May. From memory, I needed to traverse a bit in order to cross a small schrund near the pass. This was filled in by November. I didn't take a rope and downclimbed a very short steep section on the western side.
