Christchurch Tramping Buddies
I'm a 30yr old female from Christchurch. I have good fitness but no navigation skills and would be keen to find others to go tramping with in the weekends.

Yes, the CTC were glad to have their ice axes last weekend as Roddus slipped on the snow coming down from Whitehorn Pass but was happy to do it as a bumslide with the ability to stop himself if needed. They carried crampons but didn't need them.
Here's a link to his blog for a good route description and photos if you're interested. Roddus got a bit tired at times, but bear in mind these guys do the unofficial racing antics for which the CTC are renowned.
