The strap has come off my Fairydown tramping pole
The strap has come off one of my Fairydown poles, I have lost the “wedge” which holds it but figured I can get something else to go in there if only I could get the strap back in.
Has anyone got any idea how to do this? The hole where it has to go is deep and not curved, it goes over a bar and into a sharp piece inside and I’ve been unable to get the end out again.
Is there anyone who does repairs?
I would attach a couple of photos but don’t know how 🥴
Take it back to the shop where you bought it and see if they can fix it? Thread a straightened out paper clip through, use it to pull a piece of string through then pull the strap through with that?
