Are Arcteryx hard shells worth the price
Is there much of a quality difference between Arcteryx and Kathmandu 3 layer goretex hard shells? Trying to decide if i should fork out on a Arcteryx or save some money and go woth Kathmandu
not enough to justify the price...
the material is similar to other brands.. the finished product is top notch but other brands make products about as good.

Thanks. I was looking at the Macpac Copland because i Like how it goes below the crotch. Have you used the Copland before and would you recommend it for general tramping in all weather but snow compared for a gore tex jacket?
its made of reflex, a cheaper waterproof technology, not as stormproof and not very breathable compared to gore tex, especially proshell or active or Pertex
the Resolution jacket is pertex, twice as breathable and waterproof as Pertex.
