Recommendations for somewhere to go this weekend
Hi, just looking for recommendations for somewhere to go this weekend given the snow and avalanche risk. Was planning on doing Titiroa but unsure about that now. Can be any level.
Huh! With the roads getting 30cm of snow already and snow forecasted overnight, we're sticking to waltzing up the north side of Mt Herbert on Banks Peninsula, hopefully in some snow.
Mt.Herbert must be the 'go to' for many.
We often arrive in ChCh at midnight. We go to Mt.Herbert straight away. Then we go shopping, check into a motel just after midday and cook a lamb roast. We then seek out a local walking their dog and offer them the bone.
