Hello, Erin and I are based in Bombay Auckland and have recently come back to tramping after a long absence. Since Christmas we've done an over nighter at Mt Pirongia, Climbed Mt Ngauruhoe, done the Tongariro Crossing, and a few nice walks around Rotorua's Redwood forest. We have a two year old daughter called Ava who was born with a Chromosome disorder called Pallister Killian Syndrome; a rare non genetic disorder that affects less than 300 children world wide (www.pkskids.net) so sadly although tramping won't be something that Ava will experience with us, it's certainly been great stress relief and healing time for us as a couple. We're keen to do more tramps as childcare and budget allows and look forward to making new friends and acquaintances along the way.
