The tararua ranges is where i started nearly 20yo, my passion for the wilderness and adventure was cemented in those rugged hills...Over past 10y tramping and hunting have taken my south...fiordland, arawhata, mathais and the whitcombe.. I have been fortunate to meet men like JAck Luttrell and Mike Bennett, who remember a time when modern tramping and hunting was in its infancy...They remember men like herrick, Anderson, atkinson, curtis, shuttleworth, lyes to name s few.. Ashley Cunningham wrote a really good article in the FMC years ago..
