I am a 51 year old retired doctor and educator. I am happily married with a knucklehead 13 year old son. I have backpacked and camped much of my life in the Sierras and Rockies. I was a rock climber in my earlier life and I am ready for any situation that might be thrown my way. I swim and play volleyball three times a week so I am fit, ready to take on the beautiful hikes of New Zealand. This is my third trip to NZ and feel very familiar with the country and am willing to share my experiences there with a newcomer. I enjoy company, meeting new people and never shy away from philosophical discussions about the world and life. I hope there is someone out there who wants to go along on a great trip to the Heaphy or Hollyford Tracks. Will
