Got into tramping about 2008 now that kids are self sufficient and have more time to myself.Live in Christchurch,so handy to usual Canterbury haunts,AP National Park,Lewis,Hakatere etc. So far have ticked off 3 passes,Otago's 5 passes (phew!),Gillespie circuit,Travers Sabine,Nina,St James walkway,Mt Arthur tablelands circuit,Edwards/Hawdon,Wilken, Mingha/Deception,various West Coast tramps too.A few done with my Aussie mate Graeme on his annual pilgrimage to the SI hills. Love the SI scenery,you cant beat a nice high country valley!
