Well I've had a nice decade long break from serious tramping and now our youngest kid has hit nine we are ready to get back into some exploring of our amazing back country,I have spent alot of time up around the Cobb valley also Te Urewera,through the Tihoi venture school I spent some great weekends on the central plateau and the puereora forst park.I have always liked the ultralight concept but this doesn't seem to gel as well with the family! We are just in process now of collecting up enough gear to get back into the outdoors,it's amazing how much quality gear ends up in op shops around the place!
