slow but steady... thinking about tramping in nz this oct (2003)... not finding any info on this site about when to hike... can anyone help me out?... how's the weather in ocotber? been to nepal twice... anapurna cicuit in 1999 and ebc/gokyo in 2002... also went to tibet in 2002 and trekked from ganden to samye monastaries... hiked appalachian trail in 2000.... been teaching in seoul for the last 11 months... ready to get out of the concrete and into the woods...
