My wife, Phyllis, and I live in Israel. We are in our early 60s and love nature. We walk regularly and consider ourselves to be in good shape. We are not mountaineers. I am now in the twilight of my professional career as a business consultant. Phyllis recently retired as the Coordinator of English Studies at a college not far from we live. We have 3 children and 11 grandchildren. We love traveling and are planning a visit to New Zealand in January 2011. We are interested in a realistically challenging walk in Fiordland so we can fully appreciate what this area has to offer and would appreciate any good tips from contributors to this site. We will be happy to post our experiences on this site when appropriate.
