An old tramper of 60 odd years. Mainly in the Nelson and Marlborough areas but also Lewis Pass more recently. Still going and enjoy taking and teaching two teenage grandsons. Was member of tramping club but heart attacks put me out of action for several years. Have slowly clawed my way back but not as fast as in the days of yore! Interested in all aspects of the great outdoors from the fora and fauna to the rocks and topography. It's where I recharge my batteries!
