I'm an ex-South African from Cape Town, and have lived in NZ for more than 18 years. Did many day tramps around Cape Town, and also in the Waitakeres, Hunuas and Kaimais since arriving in NZ. In March 2003 we did our first overnighter to the Pinnacles, and many more since. We currently live in Central Hawke's Bay, enjoy reading about other peoples' tramps, and love to share our own as well! NZ is just an awesome hiking/tramping paradise. Hope to meet some of you on a track sometime soon.
