    Looking bloody brilliant up there today (Tues). And I agree with the foolhardiness of those two women... I once waited for a day at Totara Flats with my 10-year-old for Totara Creek to drop. So good job about the new bridge. (We still had a nasty moment at that crossing, even on the second day.)

    Your forecast was spot on John I went up to Denan for lunch, not a cloud in the sky and no wind - fantastic. Today (Wednesday) it's chucking it down with a gale force southerly. Oh well that's the Tararua's for you
