all gas removed from rangi hut, ruahines

Just a heads up that the gas cooking has been removed from rangiwahia hut in the ruahines. There is still a woodburner there and firewood supplied. http://www.doc.govt.nz/parks-and-recreation/places-to-stay/backcountry-huts-by-region/manawatu-whanganui/manawatu/rangiwahia-hut/ I think it is cost driven, not so much the cost of the gas itself but the cost of having to have a professional regularily check the system to make sure it is safe/complies with regulation.
