  • Thanks waynowski, I have registered on Seek now! With my CV, perhaps it will be easier to get someone to do it for me - lol! Has anyone tried http://www.cvpro.co.nz/ ?
  • you'll need a relevant visa to work here, i think you have to have it before you arrive.. http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migrant/stream/work/
  • Here are a few tips: 1.Length: The length of the cv should be kept to at least 2 pages. It is advisable to be concise and clear with all the details that you're trying to provide. 2. Include these points: a. contact details (phone number, e-mail address etc.) b. work experience  c. key skills (don't go at lengths, keep it to the point) 3. Include points on how you used your skills to provide solution to any problem that you faced.  4. Update your cv: try to give the 'current' details, like your new contact number or address etc. 5. Including references is very important too, as it will add a bit of weight to your application and thereby increase your chance of landing that job.  These are few of the basic tips that are followed. And, in addition to this bring in some photos if necessary. Getting some professional help will be good if you are uncertain about your writing skills. • I tried the tricks of making the cv look good but sadly it could not work. If you don't wish to blow your chance then try some consultation with professional cv writers. Check this out: http://www.cvpro.co.nz/
