Sumner to Ross

Sorry folks, no intention to not acknowledge the help and pointers kindly and very helpfully provided. They are very much appreciated and were considered in our planning. It occurred to me later that they had not been acknowledged - sorry. Next legs of our journey late summer. I highly recommend this walk, or similar, encompassing a large chunk of NZ geography like this. Coast - city river - CBD - malls and skate parks - lifestyle blocks - braided river bed - back country roads - gorge and station country...... and soon alpine crossing - west coast river - pounamu and gold - west coast beach - pub. The kids are loving it too.
