MapsPast- Lost huts and hut name changes

Such a great website. I have spent hours looking at the old Ruahine maps. So cool to see the old tracks and huts. Its interesting to see how the hut names have changed over time. I noticed that McKinnon hut was called Hikurangi hut and that the descriptive but perhaps unexciting "Centre-Makaroro Hut" name was changed when the new Barlow hut was built on presumably the same site. Also, I see the spelling of Keretaki hut has changed to "Kiritaki" in the recent Topo50 map. I never knew that there was a Bruce hut on the Mokai Patea range and only recently knew that there was a hut in the upper Remutupo stream (Remutupo Hut). We walked over this site last year and there is no evidence of any hut ever being there. Anyway, congrats on a great website.
