  • Don't do it! Have you seen what those rampant pests have done to the British high country?! If they'd come from NZ i'd believe they were revenge for gorse.
  • Dont mock gorse. Its a nitrogen fixer and makes a great nursery plant to a lot of natives. Its a pity its not that nice to walk through and makes me sneeze.
  • @madpom - you reminded me of this story... http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-27882358
  • I really had to check the date on that link in case it was 1st April.
  • I know what you mean, when I heard it on the news my first thought was...What? Really? Maggie Barry is on the Right hand side of the National party, my belief is that she will be much more ameniable to business, but time will tell. Nothing we can do about it though, more people voted for those turkeys (National, again....Really? after all of their shenanigans over the last 6 years) than any other party... you pays your money and you takes your chances (or punishments as you like)...

  • Bad luck guys,47% of the voting public thought otherwise so thats a heck of a mandate.Give her a chance.
  • Bad luck guys,47% of the voting public thought otherwise Actually thats 47% of those who could be bothered voting Turnout was I think 77% so the mandate is only 35% To put that another way Mr Key represents just over a third of the nation. Counting the silver will be easy by next election 1 finished
