Started tramping in the 60's in the Tararuas and Ruahines - nuff sed.

Still active in Kaimais - Wairongamai a specialty. But anywhere else from Nepal to Kilimanjaro and 'other' Hamilton environs.

Tongariro National park - ski and hike - still my favourite place.

  Have stayed here a couple of times. There are two other tracks not often mentioned. One goes from the top .
