Defibrilator Locations App

  • From @izogi's post 19/05 18:42"....So if you happen to be on a street waiting for an ambulance to revive someone (especially in a city), don't be afraid to send people into all the nearby buildings and find out if anyone has a portable defibrilator and someone who can use it." For those that don't know, the is an iPhone app called "AED Locations", I assume there is one for Android also. It uses google maps and can show where they are located close to you. You will be surprised how many are in the cities. Even in smaller towns e.g Otaki has 5 of them. It sometimes gives times that it can be accessed, as some are held by receptions of businesses etc. Handy little app that I hope I never need, but I have just incase.
  • we've got one on every floor at our office block.
