cas and jonesy return crossing to the south pole

anyone noticed these two? the ones who kayaked across the tasman. they have just about completed an unsupported return crossing to teh pole. self propelled. just pipped as a world first by a norwegian called Gamme they have lost about twenty five kilos each, on their last food...

yeah, a good mate of mine knows them well, rock climbs with them - they are certainly extreme!!!

the norwegian is extremely experienced at hauling heavy sledges over snow. crossed greenland several times... looks like they were beated by the best... bad timing... the norwegian got a days lead on them, but he was consistently covering more miles every day and just pulled away...

Still, they did it.
