I am an avid high-country hiker and 'tramper' who is just about to retire and expand horizons to high country outside the US. I have completed extended backpacking trips on the John Muir Trail, across Glacier Park, on the Wonderland Trail around Mount Rainier, on multiple locations in the Colorado Rockies, and on the Pacific Crest Trail in Washington. Coming up: Patagonia, the Himalaya, South Island New Zealand and Peru (Alpamayo and Salcantay).
