Kiwi Outback Hut, Kaharoa

This is a private hut on farmland overlooking the Onaia Stream at Kaharoa. It is right next to DOC land which is being managed by the Kokako Trust.

Not so much a place for tramping as a lovely site for rest and renewal. There is a wonderful view right down to the Bay of Plenty from the front door.
