Lake Alexander Hut
Refurbished hut in Ferny Gair Conservation Area. The hut is located at the south end of Lake Alexander.
This hut was originally called Tummil Hut, an NZFS animal control hut built in the 1960s and located elsewhere. The hut was moved and refurbished in 2010.

|
Avondale Road off Waihopai Valley Road. Take the track up the Tummil River. The Lake Alexander Route leads up the Tummil River and crosses a saddle to form a short loop. |
