Lake Alexander Hut
Refurbished hut in Ferny Gair Conservation Area. The hut is located at the south end of Lake Alexander.
This hut was originally called Tummil Hut, an NZFS animal control hut built in the 1960s and located further down river at point E1655927 N5381738. The hut was moved and refurbished in 2010.
Flood backwash is threatening the hut so the Marlborough branch of the NZDA will initiate something to protect the hut sometime.
