Sign of the Bellbird
Open stone shelter on Summit Road, Christchurch. The shelter overlooks Kennedys Bush, where there are a number of short walks.
This shelter was a tea house up until 1940, and one of Harry Ell's series of Summit Road rest houses. A fire burned out the roof of the shelter in 2015, but it has since been replaced.
