This is a pleasant walk to a small lake formed by melting ice 9000 years ago.
From the car park, the track crosses the path to the glaciers and climbs gently on a wide bench. After 30 minutes, the track passes the turn off to Alex Knob (7.1km / 3.5 hours from here), and soon comes to the lake.
The quiet lake is surrounded by forest and buzzing with damselflies in summer.
