Moa Park Shelter
This is an older hut that has been downgraded to Shelter status. It is on the Abel Tasman inland track between Castle Rocks and Awapoto huts.
It still gets a bit of use for overnight stays even though the bunks have gone & Castle Rocks hut is fairly close by.

Abel Tasman Inland track from either end. It is 1hr NW of Castle Rocks hut (DOC time 2hrs) Canaan Downs & Wainui Valley tracks also offer access linking at Wainui Saddle and then continuing for just over 1km until meeting the Inland track about 650m NW of Moa Park shelter. |
