Parawai Lodge is just across the Waiotauru River at the Otaki Forks car park. It was originally on the other side of the river but was moved and restored a number of years ago. very typical of older Tararua Huts such as Renata and the original Powell Hut. Makes a good stopover on the Te Araroa Trail between the Tararua section and the new Pukeatua section
