Kapakapanui Hut behind Waikanae. There is a good circuit up the western ridge and down the eastern ridge. Can be done as a day walk (4 to 7 hrs) or a very relaxed overnighter. Great views of the Tararua main range and out to Kapiti Island from the summit ridge
