Turn into Northbank Rd off SH6 about 5km north or Renwick. About 11km further on from where the seal ends on Northbank Road you will get to the Lake Chalice car park, about 400m above and 2km from the hut - about 40 minutes down, and 50 back up :) natural access point to other back country huts near Mt Rintoul, Old Man and Mt Patriarch, and the closest entry point to Old Man Hut 5-6 hours away. |
